GLAME - COMPUTER AUDIO RESOURCES
If Reader's Digest were to have a go at the GLAME developers' bookmarks, this

websites we found invaluable when implementing GLAME.

Online Resources
Books
- Curtis Roads, The Computer Music Tutorial - Not really a
tutorial but rather a huge brick, covering most aspects of computer music,
including filters, synthesis, 3d sound, etc. It doesn't really get to the
implementation level; you have to code things yourself, but the theory is
nailed.
- Steven W. Smith, The Scientist and Engineer's Guide to Digital
Signal Processing - An extremely well written introduction to
filter design. See above for a link to the online version.
- William H. Press, et al., Numerical Recipes in C : The Art of
Scientific Computing - Standard textbook on numerical algorithms. See
above for a link to the online version.
